Regular Compression (14k) Raw (456k)

Due to compression when importing audio files (such as .wav or .aiff ) into Flash the quality of the audio is lost yet the file size is drastically minimized. Changing the default compression setting to raw is not recommended unless you really need to put extra emphasis on the audio and you know that your audience will have broadband with a good set of speakers hooked up to their machine.

Note above the difference in file size. Changing the setttings to raw increases the file size x30, yet a with a good audio system you could really hear the difference.
